RECRUITMENT - Let's be partners in Starbucks

"We want people to join Starbucks who have like-minded values. We need happy people - we're a people company that serves coffee, no the other way, around...If you don't believes we can do this, oryou don't believe in me, this isn't going to work- we're going to have a private conversation" Schultz said.

Recruitment is the process of finding and hiring the best-qualified candidate. The recruitment process includes analyzing the requirements of a job, attracting employees to that job, screening and selecting applicants, hiring and integrating the new employee to their organization.

Be a Starbucks workers need to be
Adaptable, Self-Motivated, Passionate, Creative and Team-Oriented

Starbucks recruits through variety of ways for example, adverts printed and stick it in retail store, internet and a list of upcoming events on Early Career Page.

The poster above shows the requirements of Starbucks.
This poster adverts shows the job description and job specification.

The picture on the left side shows the application forms for Starbucks company.
For me, I would like to work as part time 'partners' in Starbucks but not full time 'partners' in Starbucks. Normally, part time workers would not receive so much of benefits but Starbucks workers get it. In another point of view, working in Starbucks full time is not a long term plan for me. Because I will getting older and older every year and a Starbucks barista have age restrictions.
